TREATMENT BACKGROUND
Temple filler is a treatment that allows us to restore lost volume and improve facial balance for a softer, more youthful appearance. Hyaluronic acid filler, a non-permanent dermal filler which our body produces naturally, is what we use to treat this area. The filler is carefully placed to restore contour and support the upper face. During your in-depth consultation the product and amount used will be discussed and decided on. We will base this on the results you would like to achieve combined with our professional knowledge and expertise.
DOES IT HURT?
Temple filler treatment is generally very well tolerated. At The MediClinic we use advanced techniques to ensure the treatment is as comfortable as possible. The area may be numbed beforehand, and the filler itself often contains lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, to further improve comfort during the procedure. You may feel slight pressure or a mild pinching sensation, but most patients find the treatment very manageable.
SIDE EFFECTS
Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising after treatment is totally normal and will usually settle within a few days. As with all treatments, we provide an aftercare pack which contains further information about your treatment and what to subsequently expect and look out for.
