  • How much does the aftercare package cost?
    Aftercare is included in all the listed prices we will never charge you extra for our aftercare – it comes as standard within the listed price. Once you have a treatment with us you can contact us at anytime.
  • How often should I have anti-wrinkle injections?
    It is recommended to have anti-wrinkle injection treatments every 3-4 months to maintain your desired result. However, every patient is different and during the aftercare process we will discuss when to return for another treatment.
  • Do you use dental block for lip fillers?
    We use dental injections to completely numb the lips, so that the lip filler treatment is as comfortable as possible, this also helps in reducing any bleeding and bruising. At The MediClinic we are medically trained professionals who are experienced in administrating dental injections and offer this for every lip filler procedure. Alternatively, we also offer the option of numbing cream if this is preferred by the patient.
  • I am feeling nervous about having my first ever treatment and wondering how much it will hurt?
    Here at The MediClinic we take a holistic and personal approach with each of our clients. As healthcare professionals we will always put the client first. No treatment will take place without a thorough consultation and discussion beforehand. This ensures the clients expectations are met and they are aware of what to expect throughout the treatment journey. We are always available for advice post treatment and provide an aftercare package to be taken home. Dental block or numbing creams are used with every treatment to ensure the client is as comfortable as possible.
  • Are top ups included?
    Top ups will be discussed at the practitioner’s discretion during the follow up call that we will make.
  • How often should I expect the swelling to last following filler treatment?
    Post-treatment swelling usually subsides after 2 days. However, it can take up to a maximum of 7 days as every patient is different
  • Do I need to use more product to get better results?
    More doesn’t necessarily mean better. Every client will have a consultation to form a treatment plan recommended by the practitioner that best meets the clients expectations.
  • Can I have treatments when I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
    We do not provide treatments to pregnant or breastfeeding women.
