Which areas can you treat with filler?

Updated: Nov 16, 2023

Dermal filler is an injectable soft tissue filler, inserted under layers of the skin to soften lines, folds and wrinkles to give volume, plumping up tissues. Filler has been around for the past 40 years. Traditionally, most common areas treated with dermal fillers are lips and the lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth. However, advances in filler products and techniques now allow us to treat more areas in the upper/mid face such as cheeks, jawline, nose and under-eyes.

Areas that can be treated with filler:

Eyes (tear trough) - these are the lines under your eyes that make you look tired. Dermal filler restores volume to the area under your eyes to smooth the appearance and leave your face looking rejuvenated/

Cheeks (cheek augmentation) - As the cheeks begin to droop with age, adding filler can help to lift the cheeks to create a more youthful appearance. Cheek filler is great for sculpting the face and giving the impression of bigger, more defined cheekbones.

Nose (liquid rhinoplasty) - A non-surgical rhinoplasty can alter the shape of your nose without having to go under the knife. This is a great alternative to surgery as it has minimal downtime and a much lower price tag. Dermal fillers can be used to help straighten out the bumps and even make the nose look smaller and more lifted.

Chin (chin augmentation) - Chin filler can also help to balance out and elongate the face. This treatment works great alongside cheek fillers to balance out your facial features.

Jaw (jaw augmentation) - Another great technique to help balance out the face is jaw filler. It can give you that more chiselled and defined look whilst also adding structure. It can also help the neck appear more lifted.

Around the mouth (nasolabial folds) - Commonly known as smile/laughter lines, these are the two skin folds running from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth. Nasolabial fold filler restores lost volume, reducing smile lines to result in a more youthful appearance.

Lips (lip augmentation) - A very popular treatment used for adding volume and definition to the lips. This is great for balancing out the features and can help fix asymmetry.
